Nice setting, kindly staff.
Big rooms, private parking. Found Papparuchos, set just next door to the hotel, ate there a few times. Moreover, we parked our car on site.

We appreciated our stay here. This was great hotel with very good staff and location.
-
Very pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel is comfortable, good menu, full breakfast, not the usual plastic breakfast served on plastic. Enjoyed the stay and will certainly use this hotel in the future. Right next to the Galleria for convenient shopping.

The room is clean and comfortable.
The attitude of a gentleman at the front desk is really bad. During several conversations, he never said "thank you". He doesn't have patient to wait for you finish your words. Instead, he just hang up the phone rudely. You will feel you are another trouble to him. Looks he doesn't want anybody to bother him. And another surprising thing is you have to pay $10.00 each day for the parking. The third concern is the information provided by Booked.net is not matching with the real situation. On the Booked.net, looks the room I reserved has two rooms: one with a king bed and the other one with a sofa. But the truth is: there is only one room for these two big furniture which make the room be crowded.

Good value for money - in a great location next to Galleria and other shops. Nice neighborhood etc

I liked te service, excellent service and atention to guests!! If you want to go to Houston to shopping, well, the location is the best, very close to the Galleria.
-
Friendly staff, very helpful. The location of the hotel is good, next door to the Galleria for shopping and just a short distance from downtown for business. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at the front check in were above average! They were friendly, helpful and personal! Please let them know that they are doing a great job ! And that I noticed!!

It had a professional appearance with luxury features at an affordable rate for a hotel convenient to downtown Houston. We were attending a conference at Reliant Stadium and it was close enough, but not in the middle of the city traffic. Nice covered entry to the main desk area with an atrium/garden flavor. Cozy yet spacious gathering area with comfortable chairs to sink into next to the fireplace and overlooking the small swimming pool outside. Windows surrounded the dining area where a full breakfast was served the next morning for $9.95/guest. Professional staff. Rooms were so clean and fresh - we could smell the freshness as we opened the door to our room. We loved our king-size bed - it was so comfortable with just the right assortment of pillows, layers of crisp sheets and fresh comforter. It was nice to have a sitting area with loveseat and coffee table to rest our feet on at the end of a busy day. Distant skyscraper lights dotted the sky outside our window, but vanished with layers of curtains for a restful night/s sleep. Our room was well-cooled even though it was 110 during the day, and the a/c unit was so quiet we didn't even notice when it clicked on and off during the night. The desk was perfect for holding all of our things, plenty of warm lighting from lamps near the bed, loveseat and desk. The bathroom was spotless, shiny, smelled so fresh and clean, and appeared to have been newly outfitted with current curved rod to hold the shower curtain, and nice marble countertop. Just enough bodywash, shampoo, etc in case you needed them. 3 fresh hand towels and wash cloths, too. We made a pot of coffee in our room and stirred in flavored creamers set out for us.
As we drove in we passed The Men's Club right next door that had a parking lot full of cars - it was no problem for us - we didn't even know it was there after we were inside the hotel because there was a big wall around it, but disgusting knowing what goes on there. We didn't realize this was next door when we booked our room. Also, as we were coming down the hall to our room, there was a couple having an argument in the middle of the hall, and shortly after we carried in our things for the evening we heard yelling and profanity outside our 3rd floor window - waited for it to stop - when it didn't we called the front desk and they asked security to check it out right away and it was resolved. Then within the 1/2 hour the same 3 people were now in our hallway yelling again - we called security a 2nd time and they took care of it. Other than that those 2 incidents our stay was peaceful and enjoyable! We were surprised we had to pay $10/day to park.

I was very pleased with the room. It was clean, and very well equiped with all the necesities. The bed was comfortable and we were able to sleep well. The hotel is also in a good location. It was easy to find.
Housekeeping knocked on the door early in the morning on the day we were checking out. You would think that they would know not to clean these rooms until after 12:00 noon, once the people check out. We went to eat breakfast and when we came back to pick up some of our things we had left behind, housekeeper had already cleaned out the things we left in the refrigerator. This was still before our checkout time. I really don't know what happened here. This has never happened to us before. Overall, it was a great place to stay and yes.... we would stay here again. Happy New Year!!!!!

The hotel was in a great location and the food was good.
The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like we were sinking in the middle of it.
